The newspaper DNA has held off its long-anticipated Delhi edition and has decided to terminate the services of some of its employees who were hired for this purpose.
DNA‘s Delhi bureau is also under new leadership after the departure of Bureau Chief Saikat Dutta last month.
Other newspapers have also come under the financial crunch. The Pioneer had to terminate the services of ten employees last month. This crunch has affected the mighty as well. The Times of India is also understood to be facing a 10 percent salary cut across the newspaper.
